Ocean Gems Squid Tubes (Sliced into 2cm Rings)
500 gm Corn Flour
500 gm Plain Flour
100gm Rice Flour
2 Tbsp Chili Powder
1 Tbsp Salt
1 Tbsp Ground White Pepper
Oil for Deep Frying
Spicy Salsa Sauce:
2 Tbsp Chilli Sauce
1 Tsp Minced Garlic
2 Tbsp Chunky Tomato Sauce
Salt & Pepper to Taste
Combine the Flour, Salt, Chili Powder and Pepper in a large mixing bowl / tray and mix throughly.
With the Squid Tubes cut into circular rings, coat each piece in the flour mixture, and set aside.
In a small pot, preheat the oil. When ready, add in the flour coated squid rings and deep-fry for about 2 minutes or until golden brown.
Spicy Salsa Sauce
In a sauce pan, Stir-fry the minced garlic till golden brown.
When done, add in the Tomato & Chilli Sauce and stir.
Add in salt and ground pepper to tast.
